Privacy policy
In short: we collect what we need to take your order and deliver it, we never sell your data, payment details are handled by Shopify under PCI-DSS, and you can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete what we hold.
What we collect
- When you buy: your name, shipping and billing address, email and phone number — what is needed to process and deliver the order.
- When you browse: your IP address and basic device information (browser, operating system), which help us understand how the site is used.
- When you opt in: your email address for our newsletter. You can unsubscribe with one click in any email.
How we use it
- To process, fulfil and deliver your orders and to contact you about them.
- To send you marketing emails, only if you have agreed to receive them.
- To improve the site and our range.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Consent
When you give us information to complete a purchase, arrange delivery or make a return, we take that as consent to use it for that purpose. For anything else, such as marketing, we ask you first or give you a clear way to say no.

Payments
Our store runs on Shopify. Card payments are processed by Shopify's payment gateway and its partners, encrypted to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). We never see or store your full card number. Transaction data is kept only as long as needed to complete the purchase. You can read Shopify's own privacy statement for detail.
Who else sees your data
Third parties we work with — payment processors, shipping carriers, our email platform — receive only what they need to do their job, and each has its own privacy policy. Some are based in a different country from you, which means your data may be subject to that country's laws. If you follow a link away from our site, this policy no longer applies and the other site's does.
We disclose personal information when the law requires it, or to enforce our Terms of Service.
Security
We follow industry standards to protect your information from loss, misuse or unauthorised access. Data is transmitted over SSL and stored encrypted. No method is perfectly secure, but we meet every PCI-DSS requirement and add generally accepted safeguards on top.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies so the site works and so we can count visits:
- _session_id — keeps your session (referrer, landing page). Expires when you close the browser.
- _shopify_visit and _shopify_uniq — count visits. Hold no personal data.
- cart — remembers what is in your cart for two weeks.
- _secure_session_id and storefront_digest — security and access tokens.
You can block cookies in your browser settings, though checkout may not work without them.
Age
By using this site you confirm you are of legal age in your state or province, or that you have a parent or guardian's consent.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here, and material changes will be flagged on this page. If Fragrapedia Haus is acquired or merges with another company, your information may transfer to the new owner so that we can keep serving you.
