Irish Oud Eau de Parfum - Memo Paris
Irish Oud takes the windswept leather of Memo's Irish Leather and sends it somewhere warmer. Juniper and pink pepper open cold and green, the way air moves across wet grass, before the composition turns inward toward resin and smoke. It is a nod to the Irish roots of the house's co-founder, rerouted through the Middle East.
How it wears. It opens bright and herbal — juniper, clary sage, a cool mineral edge. From there it settles steadily into leather and oud, with tonka lending a soft sweetness that keeps the drydown from turning austere. A cool-weather fragrance, and one that suits late afternoon onward better than morning.
