Royal Tobacco builds an unusual accord: frankincense and elemi opening bright and resinous, then a dense tobacco heart cut with licorice, lavender and dried fruit. The base runs long, with myrrh, birch tar, benzoin, oud and tonka. Sweet, smoky and divisive, mostly because of the licorice.
